Support & Endorsements

This campaign has always been powered by people — workers, organizers, veterans, community leaders, movement institutions, and neighbors who know courage when they see it.

From the People

What people are saying.

These are the words of people who found Melissa on their own — through a video, a speech, a conversation — and decided to say something.

“I have been a political commentator for 20 years. I rarely find a candidate with sufficient courage and candor to speak directly to what ails America. Melissa does. And we need her in Congress.”
Shui Sherard
“Her thoughts and writings show a depth of both understanding and caring that is rarely expressed by anyone so forcefully and eloquently and without a hint of arrogance. Melissa is truly a gift.”
Margaret Blauvelt
“I am a resident of Washington’s 9th District. I cannot support Adam Smith, who continues to receive money from AIPAC. I am so grateful to see Melissa refusing foreign lobbies while demonstrating we can strive for progressive change without sacrificing what’s important to the people who live here.”
Jennifer Heil-Rost  ·  WA-09 constituent
“This woman is the most articulate and knowledgeable person I have heard speak in more than — well — just about ever.”
Mary Abel
“Melissa has shown us what it means to fight and win. I trust her to stand up for what’s right and to deliver justice for everyday people.”
Mir Layek Ali
“I support Melissa because she is fighting for the Constitution to be upheld fairly and equally among everyone in ‘the land of the free.’ She is brave enough and smart enough to address the injustices we’re all seeing.”
Courtney Manning
“Clarity, strength, and integrity — we need this kind of person to help make all the changes needed.”
Diane Gibson
“Win or lose this race, the people need you to get back up every time. Your true grit can make the dead American Dream become a reality for a better world.”
Manny Mirabal
“You terrify me, and I love you. I think you are going to cause the most necessary kind of good trouble. You are powerful.”
Robin Fesmire  ·  Found Melissa on Facebook from outside the district
“My first political contribution ever! The only thing I need is for you to run for President!!”
Kimberli Flores  ·  Retired — first-ever political contribution
“I saw your Inalienable Rights post and had to share with my caregiver and my family. My kids just moved to WA from FL — add two more votes to your list. You give me hope.”
Chelle Artapillar  ·  Oregon, caregiver
“Both my husband and I are veterans and we know full well the strife under that umbrella. Between you, Mamdani, and Newsom, we have a great start on changing the country for the better. Thank you for caring.”
Kate Mistler  ·  Veteran family
“I take a great interest in American politics because decisions made by the American people flow on to affect the entire world. Your influence goes beyond the borders of your State, and beyond the borders of your country.”
Dimity Knight  ·  Australia
“You have crossed borders, not only for Women but for all. You are the voice who speaks to our tomorrow.”
Jane Milina Dunn
“Every time I listen to a new message my skin begins to tingle. I feel honored to have survived long enough to hear a woman who is at once courageous, self-aware, and empowered through her own dignity and common sense. Your journey is what has shaped you into the lioness of justice that you are. Be well. Be safe.”
Christine Robison
“You give hope where it falters. Details when they withhold. And you create a space where we can all live with dignity. You are our Lioness of Justice!”
James Conway Goodson
“She is intelligent, well informed, trustworthy, speaks truth to power — the kind of leadership we need. Let’s get the word out and financially support her election to Congress.”
Heidi Gould
“This is absolutely the best political speech I’ve ever heard in my life. I’ve been following politics and volunteering for campaigns since I was too young to vote. Not only do I agree with the message — I hold more esteem for this republic.”
Bridget  ·  Lifelong political volunteer
“I’ve never voted in my life for anything political, nor did I ever intend to. But her — I’d register and vote for.”
chris
“I live in Washington State, and I’ll be voting for her as the most clear minded candidate. She’ll fight for things I believe in.”
Daisy  ·  Washington voter
“Support from your border state, Oregon. I truly hope you win.”
Sharon Camarda  ·  Oregon
“I wish I lived in your district, you’d have my vote. I’m tired of any lawmaker who takes dark money and votes against the people they serve.”
genxnailtech71  ·  WA-03
“You are brilliant. Stay uncorruptible.”
Corei Jensen
“Congress, hell… Melissa 4 President!”
Stephen Strickler

“Thank you for being an emotionally mature, thoughtful, intelligent role model. We need people like you running this ship!”
Erin Winward Chatterton
“I haven’t voted in over 15 years — I never had one good reason to, until your videos. I know when a person is looking dead into the camera at everybody watching. You don’t hesitate. You won’t shape-shift or back down under pressure once you’ve made a decision. You have my vote this coming election.”
